Corsa Supercar Hire Terms and Conditions

1. Deposit: I understand and acknowledge that a 50% deposit of the total rental fee is required to secure the selected vehicle on the chosen date. This deposit is non-refundable.
2. Unexpected Service or Repair: In the unlikely scenario that the booked car is unexpectedly under service or repair, the following options are available:

• Rebook the same car on another available date post-repair.
• Choose an alternative car of the same value.
• Receive a full refund.

3. Daily Kilometer Allowance: I agree to adhere to a daily kilometer allowance of [specified km]. Any distance exceeding this limit will result in a charge mentioned by Corsa in the contract before rental period commences. 
4. Security Bond: I understand I am required to leave a security bond from $2,000 to $30,000 depending on what Corsa has asked and put in contract before rental period commences. This bond will be held until the car is returned and undergoes inspection.
5. Bond Conditions: The bond will be returned within 7 days, with exceptions for damages. If repairs exceed the bond, the matter will turn into an excess claim, and the difference must be paid immediately.
6. Toll Charges: Toll charges incurred during the hire period will be deducted from the bond.
7. Fuel: Upon return, the car must have a full tank of fuel. Failure to do so will result in a deduction of $5 per litre from the bond. Proof of refueling, such as a receipt, is required, as all our cars run on premium 98.
8. Minor Damages: I acknowledge that any minor damages caused during my possession will be deducted from the bond.
9. Impoundment: In the unfortunate event of impoundment during my possession, I am aware that I will lose the entire bond for loss of trade for a month and be charged for towing, release fees, and any additional fees.
10. Accidents: In case of an accident or damages higher than the bond, regardless of fault, I accept the loss of the bond and the remainder of the excess difference. The standard excess is $50,000 on cars Premium Luxury Vehicles & Supercars listed in clause 11, and $25,000 on Sports Luxury Vehicles Excess listed in clause 12.
11. Premium Luxury Vehicles & Supercars Excess: – $50,000 Standard Excess, All cars listed on our site that had a brand-new MSRP (manufacturer’s price) over $200,000 will have a standard excess of $50,000. Note: All MSRP values are calculated in AUD based on the vehicle’s price when it was brand new, not its current market value.
12. Sports Luxury Vehicles Excess: – $25,000 Standard Excess, All cars listed on our site that had a brand-new MSRP (manufacturer’s price) under $200,000 will have a standard excess of $25,000. Note: All MSRP values are calculated in AUD based on the vehicle’s price when it was brand new, not its current market value.
13. No Burnouts or Drifting: I commit to refraining from engaging in burnouts, drifting activities or launch control with the vehicle during the hire period. Note: Turning off traction control will result in instant loss of the security bond. Corsa Supercar Hire reserves the right to reclaim the vehicle immediately, as the car will be shut down and the drive terminated with no refunds.
14. Tire Damage: I understand that if the tires show signs of burnouts or drifting, I will forfeit my bond.
15. No Pets Policy: I acknowledge and agree that no pets are allowed in the car, and failure to comply will result in the loss of the bond.
16. No Smoking or Vaping: I understand that smoking or vaping inside the car is strictly prohibited. Any violation will result in the loss of the bond.
17. Late Returns: In the event of a late return, there will be a minimum loss of one day’s rent from the bond, possibly more depending on the circumstances.
18. Sole Driver: I agree that no one other than myself will drive the car at any time during the hire period.
19. At-Fault or Not at-Fault Accidents: In the case of an accident, whether at fault or not, I accept liability for the standard excess amount. The excess is $50,000 on Premium Luxury Vehicles & Supercars listed in clause 11 and $25,000 on Sports Luxury Vehicles listed in clause 12.
20. Off-Road and Track Usage: I acknowledge and agree that the vehicle is not to be taken off-road or on a track under any circumstances.
21. Traction Control: I will never, at any time, turn off traction control while operating the vehicle.
22. Car Wash Conditions: I will not take the car to a coin-operated car wash and use a car wash brush, as this may damage the paintwork. I agree that any damage to the paintwork resulting from improper car washing will be deducted from the bond, possibly resulting in an excess claim if the car requires a respray. Hand car washes using a soft sponge are acceptable.
23. Speed Camera and Parking Fines and any other Fine: I am responsible for any speed camera fines or parking fines or any other fines incurred during the hire period. I will be nominated, and the fine will be transferred into my name.
24. Speed Limit Compliance: I acknowledge that excessive speeding under 30 km/h over the speed limit will receive a three-warning policy. After the third warning, the vehicle will be shut down, the drive terminated, with no refund, and the security bond will be taken. If I exceed the speed limit by 30 km/h or more at any time, there will be no warnings, and this will result in instant loss of the security bond. Corsa Supercar Hire reserves the right to reclaim the vehicle immediately, as the car will be shut down and the drive terminated with no refunds.
25. No Food or Open Drinks: I will not bring any food into the car, and no open drinks will be left in the cup holder. Electronics are expensive to repair, and any damage will be deducted from the bond, possibly resulting in the loss of the bond or turning into an excess claim depending on the cost of the damage.
26. Excessive Speeding 3-Warning Policy: I acknowledge the three-warning policy for excessive speeding. After the third warning, the car will be shut down, the drive terminated, with no refund, and the bond will be taken.
27. Driver Age Requirement: I affirm that I am over the age of 25 (or 30 years and over on certain vehicles) and hold a current full driver’s license.
28. Driving Behavior: I agree to drive the vehicle carefully and cautiously, avoiding any careless or reckless behavior.
29. Driving under the Influence and Medical Conditions: I will not drive under the influence of intoxicating liquor, drugs, or any medication that affects my driving skills. I declare that I have no medical conditions or medications affecting my ability to drive.
30. No cover under the influence: At no time ever are you covered for driving under the influence listed above in clause 29. I fully understand I will have to pay for all damages and losses.
31. Repossession Clause: The owner has the right to repossess the vehicle at any time, with indemnity provided to the owner or agents against any loss or damages incurred during repossession.
32. No Owner Responsibility for Crimes: I acknowledge that if any crime is committed while the car is in my possession, I am solely at fault, and the owner bears no responsibility.
33. Non-Waiver Policy: I understand that Corsa will not waive any of the conditions outlined in this agreement.
34. Rim Damage: Any damage to the rims will be deducted from the bond and repaired by the owner’s preferred repairer.
35. Return Conditions: I must return the vehicle to Corsa premises and on time during open office hours, unless other arrangements have been made.
36. Vehicle Condition Report: The vehicle is not considered returned unless a Corsa employee has completed a Vehicle Condition Report and obtained my signature.
37. Definitions and Responsibility Acknowledgment: “I,” “I am”, “me,” “you,” “hirer,” “customer,” “myself,” “driver,” and “renter” all refer to me, the customer. I acknowledge my responsibility for the vehicle during the hire period.
38. Liability: I understand I am fully liable if any of the clause in this contract are broken and will have to pay for all losses and damages.
39. Insurance Decline Liability: In the event that the insurance provider declines to cover any damage, loss, or incident for any reason, I understand and agree that I am fully liable for all related damages, losses, and repair costs. I acknowledge that I will be required to cover these costs out of pocket if the insurance does not provide coverage.
40. Agreement Confirmation: I understand and agree to all these terms and conditions upon the commencement of the rental. If any of these terms are broken, it will result in the instant loss of the security bond. Corsa Supercar Hire reserves the right to immediately reclaim the vehicle, shut down the car, and terminate the drive with no refund. If any damages occur that cost more than the security bond, the matter will be treated as an insurance excess claim. If the damage is not covered by insurance, I acknowledge that I am fully liable for all damages, losses, and repair costs.
